The Parker Village Marine PW-XP Reverse Osmosis desalination systems are based on the very popular PW series, and Explosion Proof. They are the preferred choice of fresh water generating equipment for the most discriminating marine operators (such as major oil companies, the US Navy, the US Coast Guard and the Cousteau Society).
The PW series represents years of refinement to packaged RO system design, and provides a better value over custom designed systems. Able to produce between 3,000-20,000 GPD (11,000-75,000 LPD), an ideal solution for offshore applications.
Explosion Proof Configuration Available:
• NEC Rating, Class I, Division I, Group D
• IEC 60079-10 Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Gas Atmospheres Zone 2 Hazardous Area, Gas Group IIA, Temp Class T3
Technology:
• Easy to operate 316 stainless steel high pressure bypass valve controls the operating mode from cleaning/rinse to water production. Allows high pressure bypass for startup and low pressure flushing without readjustment of regulating valve
Meters/Monitors:
• Stainless steel, glycerin filled pressure gauges accurately read pressure at filters, pump and product
• Acrylic flowmeters display flowrates of product and reject streams
• Digital water quality monitor displays ppm of total disssolved solids of product water output. Also displays temperature and total hours for accurate service logs
Service/Maintenance:
• Freshwater flush system extends life of membranes without use of preservatives
Pump:
• At the core of each PW series watermaker is the Aqua Pro 3 or 5 plunger titanium high pressure pump
• Five plunger design allows lower rpm, lower noise and less vibration
• Exclusive corrosion-resistant, lifetime guaranteed, titanium pump heads
• Ceramic plungers and nylon valves will not corrode
• Boost pump provides up to 50 psi of boost pressure to the filtration system
Materials:
• Stainless steel 316 pre-filtration housings deliver 200 sq. ft. of filtering area
• Optional multi-media filter for operations in turbid seas
Safety:
• Automatic valve diverts water to discharge if water quality drops below acceptable standards
• Optional remote emergency shutdown, and remote operating signals
• Explosion proof control box with E-stop and metallic cable glands; connected with armored cables
