The Parker Village Marine Sea Water Series Reverse Osmosis Watermaker Systems are designed for rugged use in harsh environments where a large quantity of potable water is required. Typical installations are offshore rigs, work camps, oceanfront resorts, or cruise ships.
The SW Series has an efficient design, producing larger amounts of usable water with minimum electric power use. These units are equipped with Aqua Pro pumps, which isolate and minimize vibration transfer to the vessel's hull or the RO System, which also provides quiet operation. Each SW unit comprises a single skid installation with two complete, independent RO systems. The two trains can run simutaneously or can be operated on a duty/stand-by basis.
Able to produce between 24,000-40,000 GPD (90,000-150,000 LPD) , this desalinator is ideal for commercial use in even the most demanding environments.
Technology:
• Single drop skid with two complete watermaker trains including media filter with back wash and rinse
• Valving to allow simple start-up pressure control, flushing, or clean in place recirculation for membrane cleaning
Meters/Monitors:
• Corrosion-resistant glycerin-filled high and low pressure gauges
• Full instrumentation including liquid-filled pressure gauges, acrylic flowmeters, digital conductivity meter and hour-meter
Service/Maintenance:
• Freshwater flush system extends life of membranes without use of preservatives
Pump:
• At the core of each PW series watermaker is the Aqua Pro 5 plunger titanium high pressure pump
• Five plunger design allows lower rpm, lower noise and less vibration
• Exclusive corrosion-resistant, lifetime guaranteed, titanium pump heads
• Ceramic plungers and nylon valves will not corrode
• Valving to allow simple start-up pressure control, flushing, or clean in place recirculation for membrane cleaning
• Nickel-aluminum-bronze low pressure pumps drive seawater through the filtration system
Materials:
• Stainless steel 316 pre-filtration housings deliver 200 sq. ft. of filtering area
• State-of-the-art membranes
• Frame: Custom corrosion-resistant design, aluminum power coated with mounting brackets
• All corrosion resistant hardware and fasteners
• All 316 stainless steel high pressure piping, with titanium fittings where appropriate. Low pressure piping is PVC80, or, optionally, GRE for extra strength
Safety:
• Automatic valve diverts water to discharge if water quality drops below acceptable standards
