Parker Chomerics SOFT-SHIELD® Fabric Over Foam EMI Shielding Gaskets are low-closure EMI shielding gaskets for indoor applications. The SOFT-SHIELD® family is available in two basic types of form factors: electrically conductive fabric jacketed over foam core construction, and true multi-planar, z-axis electrically conductive foam.
SOFT-SHIELD® Fabric Over Foam Options:

SOFT-SHIELD® 3500 – Plated Wrapped Fabric, Economical
• Operating temperature up to 70o C
• >100 dB shielding effectiveness 20 MHz to 10 GHz
• Low compression set of less than 15%
• Over 250 profiles/cross sections available
• Readily available in bulk, cut to length or with cut-outs / features
• Available with or without pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA)
• Fabric options of nickel-plated copper taffeta or nickel-plated copper polyester ripstop
• RoHS, REACH and UL 94 V-0 compliant

SOFT-SHIELD® 3700 – Plated Wrapped Fabric, High Temperature
• Operating temperature up to 125o C
• >100 dB shielding effectiveness from 100 MHz to 10 GHz
• Low compression set of less than 10%
• Available in square and rectangular cross sections
• Readily available in bulk, cut to length or with cut-outs / features
• Offered exclusively with pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA)
• Fabric option exclusively nickel-plated copper polyester ripstop
• RoHS, REACH and UL 94 V-0 compliant

SOFT-SHIELD® Multi-Planar Electrically Conductive Foam Gaskets:

SOFT-SHIELD® 4850 Multi-Planar Electrically Conductive Foam – UL 94 V-0
• >95 dB shielding effectiveness from 20 MHz to 10 GHz
• Low compression set of less than 15%
• Stable electrical performance (through resistance) after multiple closure cycles
• Excellent through resistance (< 30 milliohm @ 25% gasket deflection)
• Non-nickel bearing material (silver plated fibers)
• Available in cut sheets, bulk rolls, or custom die cut shapes
• Z-axis conductivity allows compartmental shielding
• At low deflection (5%) demonstrates optimal electrical performance
• With or without electrically conductive acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA)
• RoHS, REACH and UL 94 V-0 compliant

SOFT-SHIELD® 4850-STRIP Multi-Planar Electrically Conductive Foam Strips - UL 94 V-0
• Available in strips with standard widths and thicknesses and various length options
