The Parker AVR4 Series is a CSA, CE-ATEX certified, steam-heated pressure regulator that is designed to heat and/or vaporize a gas or liquid sample before entering a downstream analyzer system. Its unique design allows the operator to disassemble the regulator and electrical heat transfer components for complete cleaning and repair of the unit, thus reducing replacement costs and minimizing downtime. The regulator is highly compact, making it ideal for use in scenarios where space is limited, such as heated boxes and enclosures.
The AVR4’s body is available in 316L Stainless Steel, Monel® or Hastelloy C-22®, affording the regulator with extreme resistance to corrosion, electropolishing, and welding. Seats are available in PCTFE, PEEK™ or Vespel®, which allows for compatibility with a wide range of both inert and corrosive process fluids. These materials, combined with a convoluted Hastelloy C-22® diaphragm and Inconel® poppet, provide the AVR4 Series with maximum cycle at inlet pressures up to 3,500 psig and exceptional outlet pressure stability with changes in flow.
The AVR4 Series features an internally springless and threadless design, which reduces particle entrapment and minimizes the risk of downstream process contamination. All AVR4 Series electrically heated pressure regulators are cleaned for O2 service to ensure performance and reliability in high-purity applications where cleanliness is critical.
For a steam heated version of this pressure regulator, refer to the AVR3 Series.
