High temperature heat shrink tubing from Parker is QPL-approved M23053/12 and used as a protective covering, protecting components from moisture, dust, heat, sparks, contaminants, and high temperatures. PTFE heat shrink handles long-term exposure to temperatures as high as 500°F (260°C). Heat shrink is also offered in FEP and ETFE. These materials feature different temperature characteristics, but all are self-extinguishing. Parker heat shrink features excellent resistance to harsh chemicals and has excellent insulation properties.
