Full Product Description

The Parker RV Series is a 1/4 inch PTFE fluoropolymer relief valve designed for use in ultra-high purity, DI water, and aggressive chemical systems, including those utilized in semiconductor manufacturing applications. The design features a molded PFA body with precision-machined PTFE seats and diaphragm poppet. These materials afford the RV Series relief valve high cycle life, exceptional corrosion resistance, and compatibility with a wide range of process media.

The RV Series is highly compact and can be adjusted in the field to prevent over pressurization. When a field set relief pressure is reached, the valve opens and permits flow. It resets when 25% of original setpoint is reached.

The tongue and groove seal of the RV Series valve creates a positive diaphragm to body seal, which isolates process media from the adjusting screw and ensures leak-free operation in applications where cleanliness is critical. It is available with multiple port configurations, including 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch Parflare fittings. The fittings reduce assembly time and installation costs, while providing superior leak integrity in ultra-high purity fluid handling systems at working pressures up to 120 psig.
