The MV-1 Series PTFE Manual Stop Cock Valve offers high cycle life and excellent resistance to corrosion. It is available in a variety of sizes and flow capacities and is ideal for use in highly aggressive liquid applications (up to 60 psig).
The MV-1 Series is a manually operated stop cock valve that comes available in a 2-way or 3-way configuration. It features a machined modified PTFE body, which affords it higher flexural life than conventional PTFE. The valve offers excellent leak integrity and exceptional resistance to corrosion and is available with a variety of orifice sizes and flow capacities (up to 6.55 Cv) to meet the unique requirements of customers’ systems. The MV-1 Series is ideally suited for use in liquid distribution systems handling highly aggressive and/or corrosive chemicals.
The stem of the MV-1 Series stop cock valve utilizes Parofluor™ o-rings, which produce a positive body to stem seal and ensure compatibility with a wide range of corrosive process media. This, coupled with valve’s highly durable non-wetted materials of construction (HDPE, PFA, PVC, PVDF, and Titanate), afford it maximum cycle life and maintenance-free service from vacuum to working pressures up to 60 psig.
The precision-machined PTFE body and full-flow orifice stem eliminates internal restrictions for maximum flow and minimal pressure drop. Complete shutoff of flow can be achieved with 1/4 turn operation. The MV-1 Series stop cock valve is offered for inline and panel-mounted applications.
