GLOBAL CORE - Parker’s ball check valves are cartridges designed to be inserted inside manifolds and can handle flow up to 3.8 lpm (1 gpm) and pressures up to 350 bar (5,000 psi) for circuit optimization and space savings.
Parker’s robust ball style sense check valve saves space and reduces complexity. These valves are designed for applications with flows up to 3.8 lpm (1 gpm) and pressures as high as 350 bar (5,000 psi) in a compact size that is meant to be countersunk inside manifolds in order to optimize manifold size and reduce complexity. Primarily used as a sense check or isolation check on load sense circuits, these valves feature a hardened ball and seat design that keeps leakage 15 ml/min. or less while lengthening service life due to improved wear characteristics with reliable performance. The threaded insert check valves have the flexibility of being able to mount internally without being restricted to a cavity mount or increasing manifold surface area with conventional cartridges. The threaded design allows them to be easily removable for servicing. Due to its reliability and robust design, they provide more consistent performance and are a better choice than a machined-in manifold seats commonly used in aluminum and cast iron manifolds for load sense circuits.
Markets:
• Agriculture
• Construction Equipment
• Material Handling Equipment
• Miscellaneous Industrial
• Miscellaneous Manufacturing
• Miscellaneous Mobile
Features/Benefits:
• For inserting inside manifold blocks
• Leakage – less than 300 drops per min
• Simple construction – extremely cost effective
• High tolerance for contamination
Applications:
• Component isolation
• Backflow prevention
• Anti-cavitation
• Markets where cleanliness is an issue
Additional Technical Insight:
Parker ball type check valves are designed with a ball held against a seat. This blocks flow in one direction at all times, but permits flow in the opposite direction when the pressure is high enough to lift the ball off its seat. By using a hardened ball and finished seat, leakage rates are less than 15 ml/min. in the blocking direction. The valve requires a modified SAE 2 cavity.
