Heat exchangers manufactured utilizing Parker Aerospace's macrolaminate technology offer increased thermal performance for given envelope, complex flow circuits, conformal geometries, and enable dual-thermal and structural functions.
Parker Aerospace’s macrolaminate heat exchangers represent an optimal solution when space is at a premium, weight is critical, heat rejection must be maximized, and where integration of a thermal management solution into existing structures would be an asset. Integration options on an aircraft engine include
Fairing panels, bifurcation panels, pylons and struts, acoustic liners, nacelles, guide vanes, and/or struts. Airframe options include pods, the fuselage, and/or access panels. Multiple fluid circuits could be arranged in a single heat exchanger and allow for cooling between air, oil and/or fuel.
APPLICATIONS:
This technology can be used in any application, aviation or otherwise, commercial, or military. Specific examples include air-cooled oil coolers (ACOC), fuel-cooled oil coilers (FCOC), and air-cooled air coolers (ACAC).
