Item Information

Parker Aerospace Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division has over six decades of experience in the design, development, qualification, and certification of highly engineered fuel manifolds that can be found on a wide range of commercial and military aviation engines. Drawing upon a technology database of proven products and processes, advanced engineering, continuous improvement, reliability, and high-sustained performance, Parker Aerospace offers flexible and targeted solutions that result in shorter development time and reduced cost.

The facility that produces the products is ISO 9001 and AS 9100 accredited and NADCAP certified in heat treat, brazing, and fluorescent penetrant inspection. It also offers semi- and fully-automatic TIG welding and CNC-controlled electron beam welding. Analysis capabilities include finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The extensive validation and verification test capabilities include:
• Fuel flow test capacity up to 10,000 lbs/hr or 1000 psi
• Air flow capacity up to 800 lbs/hr (Ae= 1.45 in2 @ 20” H2O)
• Vibration testing for low and high cycle fatigue verification, with or without damping and/or fluid loading and simulation up to 20g
• Spray diagnostics and characterization, including PDPA (phase Doppler particle analyzer) and high-speed videography
• Contamination testing
• Hot and cold fuel testing

APPLICATIONS:
Parker’s fuel manifolds are used on gas turbine engines for commercial and military aircraft.
