Parker Autoclave’s FCNV Series needle valve is specifically designed to interface with the FCC Flared Cone Connection to 22,500 psi (1,550 bar). The needle valves are available to connect with 1/4" to 1” O.D. Parker Autoclave tube sizes.
Parker Autoclave's FCNV Series needle valves are specifically designed to interface to tubing using Flared Cone Connection (FCC) technology. This unique patent-pending technology uses a single compression sleeve and a flared tube end to create a dual seal connection that is suitable for a wide range of medium pressure applications up to 22,500 PSI (1,550 bar).
The valves are available to suit 1/4", 3/8”, 9/16”, 3/4" and 1” O.D. tube sizes, with a choice of five body patterns including 2-way straight and angle, and three 3-way configurations. As standard, all the valves are manufactured from cold worked 316 stainless steel, with 2507 super duplex versions available as options. The 316 stainless steel versions have a pressure rating of 20,000 PSI (1,379 bar), while the 2507 Super Duplex versions are rated at 22,500 PSI (1,550 bar).
As standard, FCNV series needle valves with PTFE packing have an operating temperature range of -18 to 232˚C (0 to 450˚F). Various packing options are available to extend the lower limit to -73˚C (-100˚F) and the upper limit to 316˚C (600˚F).
All these needle valves feature a non-rotating rising stem to prevent stem/seat galling, utilise metal-to-metal seating to ensure bubble-tight shut-off, and incorporate connection weep holes for safety and leak detection.
