Parker’s multi-port gauge valves are needle type valves designed for safe isolation and control of flow to pressure measuring devices, typically a gauge, switch or transmitter. The venting or draining of trapped process media between the valve and device is also enabled, as well as the possibility of installation of two devices.
Parker's multi-port gauge valves are available with a wide array of connection types and sizes. For the ultimate in safety, reliability, speed, and ease of installation all valves can be specified with integral tube connections utilising Parker A-LOK® (Two Ferrule) or CPITM (Single Ferrule) compression fitting technologies. This will also ultimately reduce overall user costs. As standard, multi-port gauge valves are offered with the traditional external thread and nut or inverted (internal thread) design to inlet and outlet connections. They can also be supplied with integral swivel gauge adaptor to the outlet through a socket weld, generally conforming to ANSI B16.11.
The valves have two side ports for the optional fitting of a captive bleed/vent valve and a blank plug or installation of two devices.
When a tube connection is required, Parker’s unique PTFree connectTM option to the side port is recommended. This system enables users to assemble tube lines without the need for PTFE tape or liquid sealant.
