Full Product Description

The Spacer SF (former profile PK) with a poka yoke contour ensures compliance with a defined space between two assembly components. The height of the spacer incl. the self-adhesive film is decisive for defining the size of the space.
Thanks to its poka yoke contour the Spacer PK has the advantage of a small and flexible contact pressure area vis-à-vis the mating component. A curvature distinguishes the Spacer SF from other spacers with similar geometries.

Benefits:
Optimal selection and coordination of the material
Lamination with diverse adhesive systems available
Optional forms of finalization, e. g. by kiss cutting to length (die cutting of the profile but not the substrate material)
Advice on application techniques and finishing
Delivery in the desired form: on rolls, in boxes/SLCs, single parts

Range of Application:
Spacers are most frequently used in automotive window assembly. They define the space required between the window glass and the body shell before the components are joined together by means of adhesive bonding. In addition, spacers are used for correct positioning in headlight assembly.

Shelf Life:
The spacers’ shelf life is 365 days from the date of manufacture. The expiration date is indicated on the packaging.
Shelf life is linked to the adhesive system and subject to correct storage of the products:
Storage in the unopened original box
 Storage temperature: +4 to +38 °C
 Relative humidity: max. 95 %
