Pressure-regulating valve is a control valve that reduces the input pressure of a fluid to a required value at its output. Alternatively, it is a valve that works in a way that at a certain pressure, it automatically stops the flow of a liquid.

Parker Aerospace’s pressure-regulating valves are traditional, poppet-style valves of unique shape, size, and function that are custom designed to meet requirements. They have custom fittings to adapt to the application interface.

With flow analysis and predictive modeling, Parker Aerospace custom designs these pressure regulating valves for applications that range from 1 psi to 150 psi. Typically, they are made from stainless steel or aluminum. For less demanding fluids, they may even be made from composite or thermoplastic.

APPLICATIONS:
This technology is used on main gas turbine engine fuel and lubrication systems on aircraft such as commercial and business jets, helicopters, and military aircraft.
