The ISO H-series, size 01 and 02, is a dual 3/2, 5/2, or 5/3 subbase valve. It can be plugin or non-plugin, and is mounted on a subbase or manifold. Electrical connection options are terminal block, 6" lead wires, and collective wiring / fieldbus.
The H-series ISO valve, size 01 (26mm) and size 02 (18mm), is an internal/external air piloted subbase style valve. Available valve functions are:
• 5/2, single and double solenoid
• 5/3, all ports blocked in the center position, double solenoid
• Dual, 3/2, double solenoid, NC/NC, NO/NO, NC/NO
• Dual, 3/2, NC/NC
The H-series ISO size 01 and 02 valves can be configured as plugin or non-plugin, and can be mounted on a stand alone subbase or on a multiple valve manifold. The size 02 can be mounted on a manifold with 1/8" NPT/BSPP ports, and the size 01 can be mounted on a subbase or on a manifold with 1/4" NPT/BSPP bottom and side ports.
In the case of the plugin style valve on a manifold, there are options such as a terminal block (size 01 only) or 6" lead wires in the base, or circuit boards in the base for collective wiring in the left hand end plate. The collective wiring options are 25 pin Dsub, 16 point terminal strip, M23 12 and 19 pin, 19 pin Brad Harrison, and a valve driver module that connects the valve bank to an industrial network such as: IO-Link, Ethernet/IP, Profinet IO, EtherCAT, PowerLink, Modbus /TCP, CC-Link IE, Controlnet, Profibus DP, DeviceNet or CANopen. In the case of the non-plugin style valve it can be mounted on a subbase or manifold, but the coils are wired directly with M12 cables.
The ISO size 01 and 02 valves can be field converted easily from internal to external pilot supply by flipping the valve to base gasket. Internal pilot operation means the supply pressure on the #1 port is directed to the end of the valve where the solenoid operator, when actuated, allows the supply pressure to pass, which is then applied to the piston to shift the spool. External pilot is when the valve gets its "internal" pressure from an "external pilot port" instead of the #1 port. These valves can be used with the H-Series Industrial Communication System, Turcknet or Moduflex fieldbus.
