EV Series lockout tag out valves are used in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR part 1910, with port sizes up to 2 and an aluminum body as standard. The valve exhaust port is larger than the main pressure ports, which enables the valve to exhaust at a higher flow than the main flow of the valve. This reduces the wait time to fully depressurize the down stream air system. The LV Series valve has options of pressure indicators which indicate when the down stream pressure has been exhausted. The Pop-Up Indicator for pressure verification meets the requirements for ANSI B11 and PMMI B 155 standards. The valves are detent in both open and closed positions. When pressing the handle down, it blocks inlet pressure and exhausts the down stream pressure which provides more flow than the normal flow of the valve. The EZ Valve incorporates a soft start feature with an adjustable needle valve that controls the rate of system pressure build-up, protecting components down stream after start up.
