This product isThe P1D-T large bore in sizes Ø160, 200, 250 and 320mm is an ISO 15552 magnetic Tie-Rods cylinder for standard temperature -20 to +80°C. This series is also available as non magnetic and as high temperature versions up to +140°C. P1D-T has corrosion resistant materials and is suitable for heavy duty applications.

¦ Metal scraper ring
The P1D-T large bore series standard scraper rings cannot be used in environments where the piston rod may be coated with resin, ice, cement, sugar crystals, dough, etc., primarily in timber handling, refrigerated / chilled transport, cement industry, chemicals and food and drinks. The build up of hard abrasive coatings on the piston rod can damage the standard scraper ring and shorten service life. A metal scraper ring is an option for all diameters of P1D-T large bore cylinders. This metal scraper has to be used with a hard-chromium plated piston rod.
¦ ATEX Certification
An atmosphere with the potential to become an explosive atmosphere during operating conditions and / or under the influence of the surroundings is defined as a potentially explosive atmosphere. Products covered by directive 94/34/EC are defined as intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. All P1D-T large bore cylinders can be supplied ATEX certified for use in these type of environments.

• International Standard: complies with ISO 15552 (corresponds to the withdrawn standards ISO 6431, DIN ISO 6431, VDMA 24562, NFE 49003.1 and UNI 10290) for installation dimensions.

• Position Sensing : "Drop in" or “Straight in” sensors can easily be installed by adding on the tie-rods brackets protecting the sensor that can be located at any position along the piston stroke. Choose between electronic or reed sensors with various cable lengths and M8 knurled screws or flying lead connection. The high temperature version does not have a magnetic ring in the piston and therefore cannot be used with sensors.

• Installation : a wide range of cylinder mountings in aluminum providing the same overall corrosion resistance.

Operating and Environmental Data:
• Operating Medium : for best possible service life and trouble-free operation dry, filtered compressed air to ISO 8573-1:2010 quality class 3.4.3 should be used. This specifies a dew point of +3°C for indoor operation (a lower dew point should be selected for minus temperature operation and we recommend the use of an inline dryer) and is in line with the air quality from most standard compressors with a standard filter.
• Operating Pressure : 1.0 to 10 Bar
• Operating Temperature : -20°C to +80°C (standard temperature) / -10°C to +140°C (high temperature)
• Pre-lubricated : further lubrication is normally not necessary. If additional lubrication is introduced it must be continued.
• Corrosion Resistance : resistance to corrosion and chemicals. Materials and surface treatment have been selected for industrial applications where solvents and detergents are frequently used.
