Parker Conflow’s Code 5063 is a flow trip safety device used for the isolation of pumps, motors and machinery when fire fighting is taking place in mines and quarries. When flow stops or there is a fall in pressure, it sends a signal to isolate equipment or trigger an alarm, therefore protecting equipment and people.
Once the switch has been triggered with a token flow, then the device will deliver the full flow of the pipeline. The tripping flow point can be selected easily by altering the position of the switch against a calibration scale.
Code 5063 should be used as part of a fire action plan, in order to reduce risks in the event of fire in underground mines. Once flow is restored, Code 5063 provides automatic reset and resume.
Available as 2" NPT or BSP versions. It caters for flows up to 350 GPM.
Code 5063 comes with Normally Open (N.O.) and Normally Closed (N.C.) wiring options.
Customer can set flow trip options of 5,10,15,20 & 25 GPM.
