Parker's test unit EX-M05 ValveMaster® has been especially designed for testing Parker proportional and control valves with onboard electronics as part of the maintenance measures. It is the only test unit on the market to output three internal command signals at the same time. In addition, machine parts can be fully adjusted hydraulically during commissioning before the programmable logic controller program (PLC) is complete. All functions such as signal measurements or outputting target values can be called up quickly and easily via the clearly arranged operating elements and the integrated display.
Markets:
• Industrial
Features/Benefits:
• Control of valves with integrated electronics and central plug acc. DIN 43563 (6-pin + PE) - enables testing and adjustment during commissioning
• Cable set included - supplied ready for use
• Lockable rugged box - ideal for mobile use even under harsh conditions
• Built-in fuses
• DC valve output (24 VDC/40 W)
• Internal U/I-commands
• External command values pluggable
Applications:
• Suitable for testing and commissioning of Parker proportional and servo proportional valves with onboard electronics
Function:
The ValveMaster® can output three internal command dignals at the same time. Via a selection key it is possible to choose the relevant target command range from six available options. So even small processes - forwards, backwards, centre - can be selected during commissioning before the PLC is fully programmed. The test unit also offers the opportunity to loop in target values to the valve from an external source. Both voltage and current signals can be fed in. An integrated protection function prevents damage to the device or valve if the connections are incorrect.
Another special feature of the ValveMaster® is the additional DC valve output. Via a separate 5-pole connection socket it is possible to control DC valves with a maximum of 40 Watts at 24 V. The output is simply activated via a separate button on the operating panel. A protection mechanism prevents potential defects here - at power consumption of over 40 Watts the test unit switches to error mode automatically. These varied connection and setting options give customers new opportunities to test and commission Parker valves.
With the clearly arranged control panel and multi-functional display, the ValveMaster® offers the best conditions for a targeted and fast approach. For documentation purposes an external measuring device can be connected to two separate sockets on the front. The test device is integrated into a solid, lockable plastic case which protects the electronics and also takes the connection cable supplied in a separate storage compartment.
