Parker Conflow’s Code 4912 is an electronic bypass flowmeter that is designed for high flow, high pressure situations on mining roof support systems where a conventional in-line flowmeter would be impractical.
Code 4912 is Intrinsically Safe for underground use. It works by providing a linear electrical signal (0.4-2Vdc or 4-20mA) output signals which corresponds to the volume rate of flow of fluid in the pipeline.
The main body tube of the unit is simply a section of the same diameter as the pipeline, so that a minimal amount of pressure resistance is created across the meter. Code 4912 can cater for high pressures and up to 1,000 gallons per minute. It enables remote monitoring above ground, as the flowmeter is able to send a signal externally.
Available as 1 1/2”, 2”, 3”, 4”, 6” sizes, up to 6” where conventional flow meters impractical.
It operates to a maximum working pressure of 400 bar. Screwed, Victaulic and staple lock versions available.
