Full Product Description

Parker Aerospace’s product is the industry leader in lube and scavenge pumps in the aerospace industry. The addition of an electric motor to drive the lubrication and scavenge pump is a logical product improvement. The use of traditional gerotor technology provides unique positive-displacement solutions of all shapes and sizes to meet customer needs.

These pumps are used on airplanes and helicopters to distribute lubricating oil into main gas turbine engine and scavenge the oil back to the reservoir. A gerotor is a “generated rotor” pump and consists of an inner and outer rotor that both rotate on their axes. These are a robust, reliable, proven non-risk choice that outlasts the gear, vane, or piston pumps.

Parker Aerospace has decades of experience with lubrication and scavenge pumps and that allows creation of the customized, smallest, most compact, lightweight, and reliable solution for the application.

Electric motor drive has advantages over gearbox drive:
• Pump can be located in in a variety of locations depending on the needs of the application
• Can be fixed or variable speed depending on application needs

APPLICATIONS:
Parker Aerospace electric motor-driven lubrication and scavenge pumps are used on the main gas turbine engine lubricating systems in commercial and military applications of engines. These pumps have also been used to provide lube and scavenge oil on helicopters, electronic pods, and UAVs.
