Full Product Description

The filter is designed to protect the air separation module (ASM) from bleed air contamination, it consists of a housing and replaceable filter element which is designed to have low pressure drop.

The filter media will remove contaminants under 0.1 micrometers and coalesce water and hydrocarbons in liquid form. It has an orifice for draining and it can be designed for different installations which will allow for easy access and removal of the filter within the recommended intervals.

APPLICATIONS:
The ASM inlet filter is used on both commercial and military applications, it is a key component for all Inerting systems that are ASM-based.

FEATURES AND ATTRIBUTES:
Current filters feature D-ULPA 2-layer hydrophilic media, eliminating particles larger than 0.1 micrometers, it also coalesces water and hydrocarbons in liquid or droplet form.

OPTIONAL FEATURES:
The filter can be designed with different fittings and installations that will allow the operator to have easy access during maintenance and replacement of the filter elements. New generation filters can include ozone removal capabilities, which would serve as last-chance or second-stage ozone converter prior to the bleed air reaching the ASM.
