Parker’s aerodynamic seals are elastomeric shapes reinforced with fabric. Used as gap fillers between the flight control surfaces and wings of aircraft, they improve aerodynamics by reducing air friction and thus drag, resulting in lower fuel consumption and noise emissions as well as enhanced aircraft fineness.

The gaps are perfect spots for drag creation. The reason is that airflow moves from areas of high pressure to low pressure through these small gaps, making airflow turbulent and increasing drag.
Parker’s Aerodynamic Seals effectively eliminate such drag spots by closing these gaps.

• Fabric-reinforced seal will bear the wear due to mechanical and air abrasion over time.
