C0D thrust cylinder with diaphragm pistons are available in single and double acting variants for high force to size ratio applications such as clamping, riveting, punching. Forces up to 12000N.
C0D thrust cylinders are linear actuators with 6 different versions including single and double acting, providing forces from 3000 to 12000N (at 6 bar). The single acting version has a built-in spring for the return stroke that is sufficient to return the piston rod without load. For applications where a high force is required in both directions there is a double acting version. The cylinder body is zinc plated steel and the piston rod that has two maintenance free bearings is provided with a male thread.
Markets:
• Machine Tools
• Miscellaneous Industrial
• Miscellaneous Manufacturing
• Package Machinery
• Wearing Apparel
Features/Benefits:
• Double and single acting versions for varied applications
• Single acting version has a powerful built in spring for return stroke
• Threaded guide sleeve allows for direct mounting via a threaded hole or a through hole using a lock nut
• Maintenance free bearings for reduced servicing
• Compact design with high force to size ratio
• Zinc plated housing for corrosion resistance
• 6 different versions allow correct sizing to application requirement
Applications:
• Punching and riveting

General Technical Data:
• International standards : N/A
• Bore Sizes : Ø80 (Type 300), Ø113 (Type 600), and Ø160mm (Type 1200)
• Stroke Length : 40 and 50mm (Standard strokes only)
• Versions:
- Double Acting
- Single Acting Spring Return
• Cushioning : N/A
• Position Sensing : N/A
• Installation : The guide sleeve is provided with a thread that can be used either for direct mounting into a threaded hole or for installation into a through hole using a lock nut.
• Mounting Position : Any (Should not be used in a vertical applications without an external stop).
Operating and Environmental Data:
• Operating Medium : For best possible service life and trouble-free operation dry, filtered compressed air to ISO 8573-1:2010 quality class 3.4.3 should be used. This specifies a dew point of +3°C for indoor operation (a lower dew point should be selected for minus temperature operation and we recommend the use of an inline dryer) and is in line with the air quality from most standard compressors with a standard filter.
• Operating Pressure : 8 Bar Maximum
• Operating Temperature : Standard temperature -20°C to +70°C
• Pre-lubricated : Further lubrication is normally not necessary. If additional lubrication is introduced it must be continued.
• Corrosion Resistance : Good levels of corrosion resistance.
Material Specification:
• Cylinder Body : Zinc plated steel
• Piston Rod : Steel
• Piston Rod Nut : Steel
• Mounting Nut : Nickel plated brass
• Diaphragm (Piston) : Textile reinforced NBR (Nitrile rubber)
• Seals : NBR (Nitrile rubber)
• Piston Rod Bearings : Lubricant filled thermoplastic
• Return Spring : Spring steel
