Full Product Description

The M4 piston sealing set consists of a chevron packing with a pressure ring and a spacer ring. The seal’s profile is robust and suitable for harshest operating conditions. The choice of compound for the chevron allows this sealing set to be adapted to various operating conditions. For example, the chevron packing may also be supplied from a suitable rubber compound without fabric reinforcement for low-temperature or extremely high sealing requirements.

• Robust seal profile for harshest operating conditions.
• Insensitive to contamination of the operating medium or slight damage of the sliding surfaces compared with single-part seals.
• The seals can also be cut for installation, which eliminates the need for complete dismantling of the cylinder during maintenance or repair work.
• Insensitive to pressure peaks.
• High extrusion resistance.
• Excellent media resistance in case of suitable compound selection.
• Enables modifications of axial preload and/or readjustment by means of metal spacers (shims or screw rings).

Range of application:
Preferably for use with double-acting pistons in hydraulic cylinders.
