Full Product Description

Parker Black Eagle hoses are large bore, flexible, high pressure, thermoplastic, wire-reinforced hose assemblies designed for use in upstream oil and gas applications including, but not limited to, well injection, well stimulation, and Chiksan replacement for hydraulic fracturing applications. A Black Eagle well hose features a nylon core tube with high tensile, steel wire reinforcement and a dual layer polyurethane outer jacket incorporating ColorGard technology.

Parker is the only oil and gas hose manufacturer featuring ColorGard™ Technology. ColorGard™ acts as an “early warning” indicator which involves an additional colored sheath extruded between the jacket and the wire reinforcement and serves as a visual indicator to alert the end user of excessive external abrasion which has potentially compromised the operational integrity of the hose assembly. The ability to visually identify a compromise to the outer jacket of the hose alerts operators to replace the hose assembly, or in some cases repair the jacket, thus creating a safer operating environment for end-users.
