The Parker CNG Filtration Panel is an out-of-the-box solution that’s designed for use with time fill compressed natural gas delivery systems (motor vehicle applications). It has a maximum allowable working pressure of 5,000 psig and is available in both floor and K-rail mount configurations.
The filtration system features two Parker J-Series high-pressure filters, which have the capability to remove up to 99.995% of both solid and liquid aerosols, along with contaminants as small as 0.01 microns in size. The highly robust filter housings are specially designed for use in system pressures up to 5,000 psig. Ball valves located on both sides of the filters allow for continuous gas delivery when conducting maintenance. A check valve is also present, which eliminates the risk of damage to the filters caused by backflow the bypass valve is normally closed in order to prevent unauthorized bypass of the filtration network.
The CNG filtration system utilizes stainless steel tubing with A-LOK double ferrule compression style fittings, which afford it exceptional corrosion resistance and leak integrity under high-pressure conditions. It arrives fully assembled for ease of installation and is bubble leak tested prior to leaving the production facility.
