Parker's refuel defuel control panel provides a human interface to the fuel quantity gauging system. The displays indicate the fuel quantity for each tank, total on-board quantity, and warning status such as tank overfill.

The refuel defuel control panel (RDCP) displays the fuel quantity for each tank, total on-board quantity, and warning status such as tank overfill. In addition, the RDCP is capable of automatic refuel, manual refuel, defuel, and transfer operations.

The amount of fuel required to refuel the aircraft is input using PRESEL (pre-select) on the front panel. The RDCP, together with the associated fuel computer, tests the functionality of the refuel valves and high level sensors when commanded to perform a “pre check” using the SOV TEST switch position. The refuel panel supports automatic and manual refueling, as well as defueling.

• RDCP has no moving parts or assemblies capable of generating audible noise
