True Ground Speed Sensors - TGSS
Parker's GS100 is a Gear Speed sensor for monitoring the frequency and directions of work functions using J1939 CAN bus. This sensor is built to last harsh mobile environments and enables OEMs the ability to reduce costs and improve machine awareness.
Parker's GS100 is a smart gear speed sensor that provides both frequency and direction information via j1939 CAN bus. Built for reliability, the GS100 uses dual hall effect elements and internal diagnostics to validate the output signal of the sensor. It also offers an analog pulse signal for a truly redundant output. The GS100 enables OEMs to reduce systems costs (Harness, IO Count, Component Redundancy), as well and reduce maintenance costs and improve machine awareness through diagnostics - DM1 messaging.
Features:
• Speed and Direction Sensing via j1939 CAN bus
•Source addressing on-network or by resistive tagging
•Adaptive Hall effect sensing technology ensuring reliability even facing gear abnormalities and wear
•Zero speed sensing with jitter compensation for low RPM applications
•Potted electronics rated to IP67 / IP69k
•Streamlined ABS housing with single stainless-steel mount for corrosion resistance and ease of the installation
•Viton rubber shaft seal for hydraulic applications (tank pressure)
Applications:
•Engine/transmission speed and direction
•Hydraulic pump/motor speed and direction
•Shaft speed and direction.
