The addition of an electric motor to drive the lubrication and scavenge pump is a logical product improvement. The use of traditional gerotor technology provides unique positive-displacement solutions of all shapes and sizes to meet customer needs. These pumps are used on airplanes and helicopters to distribute lubricating oil into main gas turbine engine and scavenge the oil back to the reservoir. A gerotor is a “generated rotor” pump and consists of an inner and outer rotor that both rotate on their axes.
