FEP Roll Cover
4:1 PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing has the largest expansion ratio available in a PTFE shrink tubing, enabling it to provide a protective covering for irregular shaped objects.
When the heat is on, Parker manufactures PTFE high temperature heat shrink tubing, a fluoropolymer heat shrink tubing that protects components from heat, sparks and contaminants while handling long term exposure to temperatures as high as 500°F (260°C). When heated, the heat shrink conforms to the size and shape of the original object, providing a protective covering. The biggest advantage to using Parkers' PTFE 4:1 is its' ability to easily slip over objects with protrusions or irregular shapes and still provide a snug fit. In addition, the thin wall promotes quick installations while keeping the tubing flexible. For a full recovery, the expanded diameter should be 50% larger than the diameter of the object to be recovered over.
