Parker Chomerics SOFT-SHIELD® 5000 series highly compressible urethane foam are wrapped in a silver nickel-plated, woven, rip stop nylon jacket and are ideal for commercial electronic enclosure shielding applications. The high reliability construction provides a cost effective alternative to beryllium copper or stainless steel fingerstock EMI gaskets. SOFT-SHIELD® 5000 comes in many thin cross sections, making it a great solution for thin-walled plastic enclosures.

Features and Benefits:
• Low closure required for optimum performance
• Provides shielding effectiveness up to 90 dB from 10 MHz to 10 GHz
• Supplied standard with a pressure sensitive acrylic-based adhesive (PSA)
• Self-terminating jacket means no loose fibers or sharp edges
• No degradation in shielding after 10,000 deflection cycles
• Supplied in standard 8 foot lengths in multiple cross-sections (rectangle, square, D-shape, C-fold, astragal, P-shape, triangle, knife-edge)
• UL 94 V-0 flammability rated
• RoHS and RECH compliant
