Parker Chomerics PRO-SHIELD 7178 is a high performance, silver-filled polyester electrically conductive ink designed to provide premium shielding performance at a reasonable price.

PRO-SHIELD 7178 has a specially formulated flexible polymer system which “lays down” smoothly when sprayed to provide complete EMI shielding coverage at very thin coating thicknesses. Its flexibility makes it especially attractive for conductive coating of parts with tight geometries.

Features and Benefits:
• Flexible coating which provides great adhesion to a variety of substrates
• Excellent wettability allows for uniform coating application at thin dry film thicknesses (< 0.001”)
• One component solution, no measuring and mixing of components is required
• Designed for high volume spray applications
• Exceptional working life (required elevated temperature heating)
• High EMI shielding properties (>85 dB) due to pure silver flake filler
• Flexible coating which provides great adhesion to a variety of substrates
• No primer required
• Exceptional working life at room temperature. Cures only when heated, i.e., greater than 74°C (165°F).
