Descripción completa del producto

Parker Aerospace designs and manufactures a variety of reliable and efficient motor control electronics (MCE) for flight control actuation. MCEs provide closed-loop velocity control of the motors used in aerospace applications such as aircraft pitch trim and flap systems.

The MCE utilizes existing computing and communication resources to provide local motor control for control-surface actuation. High-integrity data buses and the selection of higher-voltage operation significantly reduces the amount of aircraft wiring. Parker motor control electronics can utilize the most demanding input power requirements such as DO160G Section 16 CAT A (WF) allowing operation down to as low as 320Hz for some applications supported by RAM air turbine (RAT) power.

Parker's pedigree in motor control electronics is well established, supplying all of the pitch trim actuation control on Bombardier's C Series, the Embraer Legacy 450/500 pitch trim and flap system, as well as the COMAC C919 pitch trim. The Parker MCE designs have met or exceeded all applicable certification requirements levied by the world’s certification agencies.

Parker motor control electronics or motor controllers for electro-mechanical actuation (EMA) as well as electric backup hydraulic actuation (EBHA) and electrohydrostatic actuation (EHA) have all been developed for a variety of commercial and military aerospace applications, including safety-critical primary flight-control surfaces. The designs are housed in enclosures for installation outside the pressure vessel in relatively harsh environments.

SINGLE CHANNEL MOTOR CONTROLLER ELECTRONICS UNIT
The baseline simplex MCE supports a single motor connected to either an EMA or EHA. In this application the MCE channel includes command processing and monitoring. The simplex MCE can be packaged in a dual configuration as well to support either active-standby or active-active operation.

DUAL INDEPENDENT CHANNEL MCE
In dual-motor actuation applications such as the Parker Aerospace baseline horizontal stabilizer trim actuation system (HSTS), our dual independent channel MCE is fully capable of driving the actuator in an active-standby configuration. With the dual-independent channel MCE, each MCE channel is commanded and monitored by a separate remote electronics unit (REU) containing horizontal stabilizer trim control logic. MCE command response is monitored by the REU which uses cross channel comparison as well as independent position sensors for failure detection. The dual-channel redundancy feature for the horizontal stabilizer trim control function is achieved through the two separate REUs.

APPLICATIONS:
Parker MCEs can be used on the following fly-by-wire or power-by-wire aircraft flight control applications:
• Business jets
• Commercial transports
• Military fixed wing aircraft
• Military and commercial helicopters
• Unmanned Aircraft

FEATURES AND ATTRIBUTES:
Parker MCEs offer proven technologies that have met or exceeded customer requirements for high reliability, high durability, adaptability (for families of aircraft), and have met the most stringent certification requirements faced by any suppliers for full time flight critical systems and equipment.

Our Parker MCE design can be configured to interface with aircraft military or commercial AC or DC power. The MCE supports low frequency operation on AC power down to as low as 320Hz and as high as 800Hz.
