Metal C-Seals (C-Rings) are used for sealing of internal and external pressures in diverse aerospace, military/defense, and industrial applications where minimal leakage at extremely low or extremely high temperatures is of paramount importance. They are suitable for use in vacuum conditions, very high pressures and in aggressive media. Parker’s portfolio includes a wide range of cross sections, diameters, and materials for challenging applications.
Metal C-Seals (C-Rings) are manufactured from nickel alloys and suitable for use at temperatures of up to 1450 °F even at high pressures. These seals exhibit elastic recovery and are available in bare metal or can be electroplated for higher sealing performance.
Product Benefits:
•Good elastic recovery enables use in cyclical temperature changes and flange separations.
• Temperature range from cryogenic up to 1450 °F
• Pressure range from vacuum to 55,000 psi and higher
• Large selection of cross sections
• Available in a range of diameters; tools available for many commonly used sizes
• Suitable for use with uneven flanges
• Various materials available for high-temperature resistance, good resilience and resistance against corrosion and fatigue
• Large selection of coating/plating options
• Circular, oval and other custom shapes available
Range of Application:
Aviation, Defense/Military:
Gas turbine engines, fuel systems, valves, injection systems
Power Generation, Automotive/General Industrials:
