Parflare Series PFA Tube Fittings are designed for use in ultra-high purity (UHP) and/or corrosive chemical handling systems, including semiconductor fab tubing runs and tool connections. The fitting design yields a leak tight connection with minimal dead volume and can be used in side loading and vibrational applications.
Parflare Series tube fittings are fabricated from semiconductor-grade materials to ensure performance and reliability in operations where process cleanliness is critical. The body of the fitting is made of high-purity PFA, resulting in minimal generation of surface particulates, total organic carbon (TOC), and anions.
The fittings are available in a variety of sizes (1/4 inch to 1 inch) and configurations to meet the unique requirements of customers’ systems. Many configurations are fitted with Redi-flare end connections, which save space, making them advantageous in tight areas, such as valve manifold boxes (VMBs). The exacting design of Parflare Series tube fittings also allows for ease of assembly, thus reducing installation time and ensuring a leak-tight seal for minimal downtime in demanding UHP applications.
The connection is achieved by a heated flaring process utilizing an external heat source and PTFE mandrel (MFT Manual Flaring Tool), or by using Parker’s optional FG Series Electronic Flare Gun.
