Parker’s IQAN-XT2 module is a legacy module in a collection of expansion (slave) controllers that can be added to an IQAN system. The rugged XT2 has 2 bidirectional, regulated current outputs for controlling proportional valves. It also has 6 digital outputs for on-off valves which can be configured as 6 single, or 3 bidirectional PWM (pulse width modulation) outputs for non-regulated control of proportional valves and devices. The IQAN-XT2 has inputs capable of measuring analog, digital and frequency signals. The I/O may be flexibly configured to meet any system need.
The XT2 has an additional CAN hub designed to interface with J1939 diesel engines on mobile machinery and has a dedicated output for electronic throttle control. Its function is defined in the IQAN master unit’s program with the easy-to-use IQAN programming tools. IQAN-XT2 communicates with IQAN master displays or controllers over a CAN bus. Equipped with an aluminum housing and an environmentally sealed, 42-pin connector, this controller is designed for the outdoor environment.
With no programming required the IQAN-XT2 legacy expansion controller is perfect for field service replacement in existing equipment.
The IQAN-XT2 is in phase out status and is not recommended for new applications.
