Parker Chomerics SOFT-SHIELD® 2000 series high durability gaskets are made of highly compressible thermoplastic EPDM foam wrapped in a silver-plated nylon yarn and are meant for low compression force, electronic enclosure sealing applications where weather sealing is not a requirement. SOFT-SHIELD® 2000 comes in both rectangular and “D” shaped cross sections either on spools or cut to specified lengths. The gaskets can be 4-corner spliced to produce a custom “picture frame” configuration. These gaskets are available with an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) option for quick, efficient application.
