PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) is a tough engineering Fluoropolymer that offers a combination of properties beneficial for use in many critical applications requiring chemical resistance with low permeability. Commonly referred to as Kynar®*, PVDF exhibits low extractable levels, while providing high mechanical strength, excellent abrasion resistance, and good resistance to many chemicals and solvents. Parker TexLoc’s PVDF tubing is excellent for use in ultrapure water systems and ground water monitoring. PVDF Tubing also offers better chemical resistance than thermoplastics and is a cost effective alternative to PTFE tubing when extreme temperatures are not required. It is available in Flex™ (Series 110) or Super-Flex™ (Series 111) designs.
