Warnings:
• Do not use hose for natural gas service where fixed/rigid pipe is more appropriate due to reduced permeation and overall strength and durability. Use rigid pipe, non-permeable tubing or hose with barrier constructions to convey natural gas whenever possible.
• Strictly adhere to the inspection procedures detailed in DOT regulation 49CFR 180.416 when using this product in a mobile application such as delivery or service vehicles.
•It is an industry recognized occurrence that LPG will permeate through the hose wall during operation and storage, therefore Parker LPG hoses are produced with a pinpricked cover from the factory to relief the expansion of liquid propane to gaseous propane as it permeates through the hose wall. Great care must be taken when discharging LPG hose to reduce the incident of damaging the hose from explosive decompression. RELEASE LPG AT A RATE THAT ALLOWS THE TRAPPED LPG TO DISSIPATE AS SLOWLY AS POSSIBLE. See the Tech Alert – LPG Hose Evacuation Process for more information from your LPG Distributor.
