PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
Parker’s DG Profile polyurethane D-ring is a problem solver featuring a variety of design advantages.  This high-performance polyurethane solution extends seal life with its one-piece design.  The molded “D” shape which is higher in the middle and lower on the ends, provides sealing in critical areas while reducing the chance of a seal being cut during installation.  Its sealing lip contact footprint is minimized, thus reducing the amount of friction between seal and bore while providing expected sealing performance.  The “D” shape is symmetrical so there is no performance degradation as the valve cycles in the reverse direction nor concern of backward installation of the seal. The design also incorporates “pressure pedestals” to eliminate the potential for “blow-by,” common in reverse cycling.

Assembly is easy.  There is no worry over incorrect placement of an O-ring and back-ups which can become pinched, folded, or broken during installation.  The one-piece design along with increased wear resistance and strength of polyurethane eliminates the need for back-ups.  

DG Profile part numbers correspond to dimensions and tolerances of standard AS568 O-ring sizes for single back-up O-ring groove widths.

Available in Parker’s proprietary Resilon® polyurethanes for:

• Low compression set
• Extrusion resistance
• Water resistance (Resilon® 4301 - P4301A90)

Standard Materials:
• P4300A90 Resilon® polyurethane; Temp -65 / +275F; Pressure 5000 psi dynamic (10,000 psi static)
• P4301A90 Resilon® polyurethane; Temp  -35 / +275F (+225F in water); Pressure 5000 psi dynamic (10,000 psi static)
