Parker Chomerics connector gaskets are die-cut from premium sheet materials to provide effective EMI shielding and pressure sealing in standard and custom connector applications. They are available in sizes for all standard AN series connectors, as well as for RF types, JT, PT & PC, SO, SP, and Bendix Connectors. Connector gaskets are available in a variety of materials and constructions, each serving different EMI shielding and pressure sealing purposes. EMI shielding is provided by oriented or expanded Monel, or aluminum wire. Pressure sealing is provided by a robust silicone or neoprene elastomer.

POLASHEET Gasket Specifications:
• Consist of perpendicular Monel or aluminum wire in solid silicone.
• Excellent EMI shielding and pressure sealing
• Available with pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing for easy application
• Standard thickness is 0.062 inches (1.57 mm)
• Able to compensate for 0.008 inch (0.20 mm) joint unevenness

METALASTIC Gasket Specifications:
• Consist of aluminum mesh in silicone or neoprene elastomer
• Ideal for applications where space is limited
• Standard thickness is 0.020 inches (0.51 mm)
• Compensate for joint unevenness of 0.002 inches (0.05 mm)
• Application Note: Silicone should be used for temperatures above 500°F

PORCUPINE METALASTIC Gasket Specifications:
• Consist of expanded Monel sheet in silicone
• Best for breaking through non-conductive surface films
• Standard thickness is 0.030 inches (0.76 mm)
• Compensate for joint unevenness of 0.005 inches (0.127 mm)
