LV Series valves deliver increased efficiency and productivity and are robustly designed in both aluminum body and stainless steel options which meet or exceed safety standards. The LV lockout tag out valves are used in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR part 1910. The series offers port sizes up to 2 NPT and BSPP. An aluminum body is standard, but full stainless steel options are available. The valve exhaust port is larger than the main pressure ports, which enables the valve to exhaust at a higher flow than the main flow of the valve. This reduces the wait time to fully depressurize the down stream air system. The LV Series valve has options of pressure indicators which indicate when the down stream pressure has been exhausted. The pop-up Indicator for pressure verification meets the requirements for ANSI B11 and PMMI B 155 standards. The stainless steel version contains stainless steel bodies, handles, spools & springs and meets NACE MRO175 / ISO 15156 standards. The valves are detent in both open and closed positions. When pressing the handle down, it blocks inlet pressure and exhausts the down stream pressure which provides more flow than the normal flow of the valve.
