The Depth-Clear II dual-layer lenticular filter has two serial layers of proprietary depth media creating a dual-zone filter module for increased throughput, reduced premature blinding, and increased operating efficiency. The serial layers stratify debris and increase throughput up to three times that of traditional single layers. The modules can be configured to the end user’s specific application to optimize filter performance.
Depth-Clear II Series filter media utilize mechanical and electrokinetic capture mechanisms to remove particles, micro organisms, colloids, and pyrogens from process streams. The lenticular filters will fit into standard stack disc housings or can be incorporated into Parker’s patented Depth-Clear D encapsulated filtration system.
Features/Benefits:
• Two full-thickness filter media grades, creating a high-surface area filter for superior filtration and long on-stream life cycles
• Dual-layer configuration that allows multiple upstream/downstream combinations to meet process requirements
Examples:
1) Carbon grade over carbon grade for twice the contact surface area
2) Upstream cellulosic media-grade layer over a downstream carbon-filter media layer to protect downstream carbon layer from contamination
