The T-31 Timer replaces the T-1 Timer which is no longer available. The T-31 Timer is interchangeable with the T-1 in nearly all features: The dimensions are virtually the same and the T-31 can duplicate any switching circuitry found in the T-1 plus it has a pump down cycle before defrost.
Although the timer is limited to a minimum defrost frequency of once every 3 hours, the T-31 Timer has the option to stagger the defrost time of multiple defrost groups at time intervals other than 3 hours by setting the time of the individual clocks an hour or so off from the correct time of day. The ability to install where splash proof or outdoor installation is required is guaranteed by the NEMA-3 weather resistant enclosure. This timer’s heavy- duty motor features sealed bearings, to keep dirt, moisture, and contaminants from compromising the integrity of this product.
