Parker PGI’s Texas Thermowell 23 Series probes aid in sample collection, these sample probes can be utilized as injection quills which inject chemicals into the center of the pipe.
Parker PGI Texas Thermowell Sample probes are offered in threaded, flanged, socket weld, weld-in, van stone and sanitary mounting styles. Over 25 body material options can be customized with various process connections, immersion lengths, lag lengths and shank diameters.
The best representative average sample comes from single phase flow. If single phase flow exists in a process it will typically be found in the center 1/3 of the pipe which is where probe tip length can be sized to reach. As a standard probes are provided with a 45 degree angled tip, and blunt cut tips are available upon request.
Sample probes are used in virtually all process industries, including refining, petrochemical, oil and gas, chemical, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, biomedical, cement, power generation, and nuclear.
A variety of testing and certifications are also available and include: Dye penetration testing, internal or external hydro pressure testing, X-ray of weldment, positive material identification, and material test reports/certifications.
