Parker OFAS Oil Free Air Systems deliver clean, dry, technically oil-free compressed air in accordance with all editions of ISO 8573-1, the international standard for compressed air quality.

Energy efficient heatless dryers with integrated dewpoint energy management systems provide a constant outlet pressure dewpoint of ≤-40°C, (≤-70°C or ≤-20°C optional) at flow rates between 408 m³/hr and 2040 m³/hr @ 7 barg, 35°C for a single bank, higher flows available with multi-banking.

Many applications specify the need for ‘oil-free’ compressed air. Ambient air drawn into an air compressor contains oil in a vapour phase, which after compression, cools and condenses in the compressed air system to produce liquid oil and aerosols of oil. No matter which type of air compressor is installed (oil lubricated or oil-free), if the application requires ‘oil-free’ compressed air, treatment is required.

The coalescing filters and OVR adsorption filter fitted as standard to Parker OFAS models treat both the oil vapour from the ambient air as well as oil from a lubricated compressor, providing technically oil-free compressed air from both oil-free and oil lubricated compressors.

Using clean, dry, oil-free compressed air improves productivity whilst reducing maintenance costs and downtime. Many products claim to provide this, however OFAS Oil Free Air Systems provide the highest levels of compressed air purity with 3rd party validated performance in accordance with international standards.

• Dewpoint performance 3rd party validated by LRQA
• ISO 8573-1 class zero technically oil-free air (total oil ≤0.003mg/m³)
• HL models utilise standard Heatless PSA methodology for desiccant regeneration
• LE models utilise Low Energy vacuum assisted heatless methodology for desiccant regeneration (on average 64% more energy efficient than HL equivalent)
• No heat required for regeneration
• Inlet pressure, temperature and outlet dewpoint measurement as standard
• Colour HMI touch screen for dryer monitoring and outlet dewpoint display
• Two energy saving systems included as standard: Purge Economy (compressor synchronisation) and DDS-EST dewpoint dependant switching
• Web server for dryer monitoring via local area network (LAN)
• MODBUS TCP/IP & MODBUS RTU
