The Parker Aerospace piston-type hydraulic accumulators are designed to meet very stringent weight, envelope, and performance requirements. Many of these units incorporate single-end caps and/or ballistic tolerant wraps for additional weight savings. This set of custom-designed accumulators complements our MIL-Spec, double end-cap accumulators that are designed in accordance with MS28700 and MS28797.

APPLICATIONS:
Parker Aerospaces hydraulic accumulators are found on many aircraft, missile, and ground support equipment (GSE) hydraulic systems. Accumulators can be used to supplement flow during high demand or maintain pressure to a bootstrap reservoir while the aircraft engines are not operating. Parker has designed accumulators for such aircraft the 787, C919, F-16, Delta IV, ARJ21, MRJ, Legacy 500, C-series, and C-17.

• Polytetrafluoroethylene guides minimize piston friction and wear
• Various seal configurations provide high endurance with the capability to withstand high-pressure fluctuations without extrusion or spiral failures
• Many accumulators were tested to customer specifications that exceed military specifications for endurance, impulse, and vibration
• Compatible with phosphate ester-based and hydrocarbon-based (MIL-PRF-87257, 83282, 5606) operating fluids
• Conforms to specifications MILA-5498, MIL-A-8897, and drawing MS28700 (for sizes 1-5)
